Due to the latest legislation making your web site accessible is no longer optional, its the law. Initially published in 1999 and added to in 2002 the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) and its associated Code of Practise are now law and you can be taken to court if your web site is not accessible to blind and disabled users.

With the RNIB (Royal National Institute for the Blind) and the DRC (Disability Rights Commission) advocating the DDA.  They have used this to challenge a number of large companies and in all cases have won without ever reaching court.

Make Stuff Happen have accessibility experts in ready to help and advise you on all elements of you sites compliance.   We work to the W3C Priority 2 guidelines on all web projects and will produce a full compliance report at the end of the development process.

Not sure if your site is compliant?  We can provide a full and detailed report on your current sites compliance with W3C guidelines and can also in most cases provide a full find and fix service.

So if you are unsure of your accessibility liability contact us as soon as possible.
